When women are getting pregnancy during their young age will protect them from breast cancer. The researches in Bio- Med Central found that Wnt/Notch the ratio of breast tissue of younger pregnancy women compare to aged pregnancy women.
The research says that child birth before the age twenty would decrease the breast cancer among the womens half the ratio. By analysing Microarray examination, the scientist discovered that genes involved in immune system where up-regulated after the earlier pregnancy.
The gene Wnt4 involved was down regulated after pregnancy. The protein present in Wnt4 gene is a feminising protein due to absence of this protein, propels the foetus as a boy. The scientist found that Wnt and Notch are cellular fate of opposing components which control cellular fate within organism.
The Notch stimulating protein were up-regulated and inhabiliting protein were down regulated. Mohammad Bentires- Alj from the Friedrich Miescher Institute for bio medical research said that the down regulating of Wnt/Notch after earlier pregnancy shows the decreasing breast cancer when women are getting earlier pregnancy.
