Rameshwaram Temple is located in Tamil Nadu (southern part of India). It is one of the famous temple in India. It is also said to be tourist spot, where many devotees are coming every day. When Lord Rama's wife Sita was caught by Ravana, on that time Lord Hanuman pay a way from Rameshwaram to Sri Lanka. So, later it was constructed as a bridge by ape men(vanara) and named as Rameshwaram Bridge. The bridge connects Pambam and Rameshwaram Islands.
