AIR INDIA BEGINS DREAMLINER SERVICE

On Wednesday May 15, 2013 onwards Air India will starts service
of Boeing 787 Dreamliner  planes for domestic services and May 22, 2013 Air India begins international services of Dreamliner. The oil companies are expected to give concession of Rs. 500 crore to Air India. 

Air India also says it would get a additional revenue of Rs. 500 crore to saving interest from loan and booking agency commission and reducing the staffs. Air India first commercial Dreamliner service will start from Wednesday between Delhi and Kolkata. 

The civil aviation Minister Ajay Singh said that India buys Boeing
787 planes in that two of them already modified following the battery fire accident. He also said that the first international Dreamliner service begin from May 22,2013 within Delhi and Birmingham. 

And from August Sydney to Melbourne and from October Rome to Millam and in early in next year 2014 to Moscow.    And the remaining six Boeing Dreamliners will begin its services by the end of this month. 

Mr. Singh also said another eight Boeing Dreamliners also be delivered by Boeing in December 2013. In addition to this Air India ordered 27 Dreamliners. After a fire accident in Lithium- ion- battery of parked plane in Boston and forced landing of Boeing 787 in Japan. It has been remained grounded  from January. 

Mr. Singh said the airline has setup a committee to deal with issues of Boeing.
