SPECIAL RECIPE FOR VINAYAGAR CHATHURTHI CHICKPEA SUNDAL.

For Vinayagar Chathurthi there will be delicious and tasty recipes item in all Hindu homes. It is one of the important traditional function for all Hindu people. The special item prepared on the day of Chathurthi were sundal. Now, we see how to prepare a tasty chickpea sundal. It is easy to prepare it. It takes 30-45 minutes to cook it. The ingredients used are half cup boiled chickpeas, half tbsp of coriander seeds, half tbsp of channa dal, two red chilli, two tbsp of coconut, one tsp coconut oil, one-fourth tsp of mustard seeds, extra curry leaves, asafoetida and salt to taste.

*PREPARATION METHOD:
                        First take the sundal and soak overnight and pressure upto 3 whisstle for cook it and also add a little bit salt in it. Next, filter water and keep it aside. Now, take a pan roast the coriander seeds, channa dal and red chilli till it turns golden brown.
Then, after sometimes make them into powder. Add coconut oil, mustard seeds, curry leaves and the cooked sundal in the pan. Then, add the spicy powder mix it with the chickpeas nicely. 

Finally, add the scrapped coconut at the top of the chickpea sundal and salt to taste.

Now, the healthy and hygienic chickpeas sundal is ready to serve it. It is also used for snacks items for evening time to children.
