ALASKA TOWN NEWTOK SUBMERGED IN BEARING SEA BY 2017

The town Newtok located in Alaska, about 480 miles West of
Anchorage and population of about 350 people is expected to be submerged by Bearing sea in 2017, according to the report of state of Alaska, the  U.S army corps of engineers and Guardian. 

Newtok which is small Yup'ik eskimo village located on the West Coast of Alaska. Newtok town is surrounded by three sides by Ninglick river. The river which erodes very fastly washing away the land and  buildings and it expected that Newtok's school will be submerged by the sea in 2017. 

Ninglick river is connects the bearing sea, the sea level was increasing and enters the village at an average of 72 feet per year. By the recent study says that due to climate changing condition people in Alaska suffers. 

The people lost their life, property, families and affects their health
condition due to coastal conditions. The people in Newtok wants to shift their location to Mertarvik , an area 9 miles away and report was given 2011 to the state of Alaska.  

However shifting the people of Newtok will cost around $130 million. If the government delays in shifting Newtok village it will be swallowed by Bearing sea.
