REFEREE KICK BY TEENAGE PLAYER IN UTACH

Soccer referee who was 46-years-old punched by a teenage player during a game. The referee take into a coma stage and later died, police said.

Ricardo Portillo of Salt Lake City passed away at the hospital on saturday, May 4th 2013. 

Police arrested a 17-years-old player in soccer league of punching Portillo referee. The referee called a player foul and showed him a yellow card.

So that, the young player got angry and kicked in referee face once. But the player name was not yet released.

Portillo suffered swelling in his brain and got into critical condition on thursday at the Intermountain Medical Center in the Salt Lake city, said Dr. Shawn smith.

According to police report, Portillo's daughter and victim's family was suffering due to his dead. By saturday evening the teenager's player, father agreed to bring his son to speak with detectives. Portillo's family said that he had been attacked before and Johanna Portillo said her sister begged his father to leave referee because of the player continued punching the poor referee on his face.
