TRAIN COLLISION INJURED 70 PEOPLE IN NEW YORK CITY

BRIDGEPORT - The train collision had been held on May 17th 2013, in Metro-North passenger train from New York city which was happened by the fractured segment of track found on the rail line and rashed another train which was coming in opposite direction on other side. 

Nearly more than 70 people were injured, officials said. The incident was occured during the evening busy hours between the towns of Bridgeport and Fairfield, 50 miles about from northeast of New York city. 

The investigation was going  whether the fractured train track cause
the accident or other reason for accident caused, said Earl Weener a board member for the U.S National Transportation Safety Board. 

There was repair work held on that stretch of track during the last month. The two trains from the Metro-North commuter line that come between New York city and parts of Connecticut in opposite direction train accident was held. 

It declare that 70 passengers and crew members were injured. Eight people admitted in hospital on Saturday and three were in critical condition. Unfortunately, there were no death occured, Blumenthal said . In America, the New York New Heaven line is one of the busiest rail line and about 125,000 passengers travels per day, said Judd Everhart of the Connecticut Department of Transportation.
