EARTHQUAKE ATTACKS AFGHANISTAN

Eastern Afghan city- Jalalabad near the Pakistan border the earthquake incident happened. On April 24, 2013 at 1:26pm EDT. This earthquake got into measured at magnitude of 5.7 reported by the US Geological Survey.  

The people was rushing out from their home and atleast seven people have been killed and hundreds are been injured. Many homes destroyed and flash flood in the north side Afghan killed nearly 33 people and mud-brick homes collapsed, said by official enquiry. 

The quake was measured 65km(40miles)deep with an epicenter, 11 km(7 miles) from Mehtar Lam. The hundreds of home was destroyed across Kunar and Nangarhar. There were 18 people killed in Nangarhar and in kunar death rates expected to raise, according to Afghan Red Crescent Society said. 

At a time, the rain cause across most of Afghanistan are may due to flash floods in the north side.The earthquake felt slightly into New Delhi and the buildings were swing slowly from one side to another, and the people ran into the street. 

The last week  earthquake appeared in Southwest  china with 6.6 magnitude killed nearly 200 people and destroy the homes in mountain slides.
