The Former Pakistan president General Pervez Musharraf was
arrested in Islamabad on Friday April 19th 2013. Musharraf bail was rejected in Pakistan High court over his illegal detention of judges arrest during his emergency rule imposed in March 2007.
The Police arrested Musharraf and presented before district court judge at Islamabad. A magistrate order him to kept under house arrest and remand under police custody for two days.
Last month Musharraf return to pakistan to contest in the upcoming General Elections to be held May 2013, where he is almost four years of exile in Dubai and London.
After return to Pakistan he leads his All Pakistan Muslim League Party(APML) to contest in General Elections.
He has been arrested for the illegal detention of 60 judges arrest including chief justice Mohammad Ifthikar Chaudry during his Emergency Rule imposed by him in march 2007.
He also faces several criminal cases relating to not giving adequate security to former prime minister Benazir Bhutto who was killed in gun fire in public meeting and death of Nationalist leader of Nawab Akbar Dugi.
The magistrate ordered the police officials to kept under police custody for two days and he should be produced before the anti-terrorism court.Earlier yesterday Musharraf was in court when the judge ordered to cancelled is bail petetion soon after he flees out of the court to his house.
