BANGLADESHI PROTESTOR THROW STONES AT POLICEMAN

Dhaka, Bangladesh- On May 5, 2013 Bangladeshi protestor throw stones at policeman. 27 people killed in clashes between police and Islamic hardliners. They demanding that the government enact an anti- blasphemy law, officials said.

The people blocked roads with burning tires and logs. The fighting were going more than five hours. They even attacked a police station and fire into 30 vehicles including police trucks.

Police official said there were 13 people including two police and paramilitary soldier killed in clashes in Kanchpur. Seven people died in Motijheel. Southeastern Chittagong city police fired on Islamier and attacked them with iron rods and sticks.

The clashes were ended when the security forces fired tear gas and rubber bullets,reported private United News of Bangladesh. Police said all rallies had been banned in city until midnight monday.

The Islamic activities were faught because of demand government to implement anti-blasphemy law.Due to cause of police fired rubber bullets atleast one person killed and 45 other were injured , officials said.
