LONG TERM USE OF PAIN KILLER CAUSE ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION

According to a new research says that when a person intake pain
killer drugs for a long term may cause Erectile Dysfunction (ED). In the journal spine a study says that researches diagonsis the health reports of 11,000 person who take long term pain killers for their Chronic back pain. 

The person who take pain killer doses fro more than 4 months is likely to have the cause of erectile dysfunction than the person who do not take pain killers. The person who use pain killer medicine like Oxycodone to treat back pain will cause erectile dysfunction about 19 percent of men taking pain killer high dose expected to have erectile dysfunction says by the researches. 

Dr. Richard Deyo, lead author from Kaiser permanante center  for
Health Research at oregon. Health and science university, in Portland oregon said many of the person taking high dose of pain killers do not consult their problems with the doctors. 

The testosterone level in our body are changes due to pain killers. These pain killers decrease the level of testosterone level below the normal and additional factors line depression cause erectile dysfunction. 

Dr. Deyo said that long term usage of pain killer drugs of high dose to Chronic back pain should be avoided. The more effective treatment like congnitive behavioral therapy (CBT) helps the patients to over come Chronic pain. Deyo said that his team research can make awareness to the patients about the intake of pain killer dose for long term causes erectile dysfunction.
