MIGRAINE DRUGS REDUCES INFANTS IQ DURING PERGNANCY

The recent research says by US Health Regulators that pergnant women while intake drugs to treat headaches will decrease their babies IQ. On Monday May 6 2013 , the Food and Drug Administration says that the drug including Depakote and Depacon should not taken by the pregnant women for treating headaches. 

The pills which is already advised by the doctors not to take by pregnant women. Since it contain Valporate sodium. But the FDA gives additional warning for the intake of Valporate drugs which decrease the IQ level in children. 

The Research at Emory University said that Valporate drugs
contains 8 to 11 points reduction of  IQ level to children at the age of six. The study says that during pregnancy intake of Neurological Medicine will show decrease of IQ level in children.

FDA says that Depakote medicine used to cure bipolar disorder and siezours should not take these medicine and treat them as last resort. The pregnancy women advice not to take Valporate drugs. 

The FDA said that drug manufacturing companies to change the products of pregnancy code to X for Migraines . The code indicate the risk level to the pregnant women to use.
